Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking an accounts payable professional to handle full cycle AP, invoice processing, and accurate record-keeping. You will communicate with vendors and internal customers to resolve payment inquiries and ensure timely payments.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of related experience, strong Excel skills (pivots and formulas), and solid MS Office knowledge. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and supporting a busy finance team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Experience in Full Cycle AP including processing, verifing and entering invoices for accounts payable.
• Monitors accounts, maintains logs and records, and prepares reports for one or more companies.
• Communicates with vendors and internal customers regarding account status and follow up on special requests.
• Performs various clerical duties to provide general assistance as required.
• Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience equivalent to:

Education/Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent and accounting courses resulting in basic knowledge of one or more accounting functions (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, etc.)

Experience

• At least 4 years of related work experience.
• Excel experience (pivots and formulas desired)

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• One or more accounting functions (e.g., basic bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll processing, etc.) (J)
• Generally accepted accounting principles (J)
• MS Office Word / Excel software applications (J)
• Company computer systems (accounts payable, general ledger, etc.) (J)
• Use of basic office equipment and machinery (PCs, copiers, etc.) (J)
• Project/assignment management techniques and procedures (B)
• Relevant division concepts, procedures, and regulations (J)

Skill and ability to:

Compensation: $25.00 - $29.00/ Hour
