Job Summary

This role involves performing complex accounting research, providing recommendations on judgmental accounting issues, advising finance teams, and reviewing significant vendor and customer agreements.

Core Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts such as customer agreements, vendor contracts, leases, intercompany transactions, and M&A deals for accounting considerations.
• Research complex accounting issues and prepare technical memos and white papers with supported conclusions.
• Guide and recommend accounting treatments for new or non-standard transactions across global entities.
• Stay updated on new accounting standards and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Assess the impact of new standards and regulatory changes, supporting their implementation.
• Contribute to developing and rolling out global accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, FP&A, procurement, operations, and international divisions for accurate financial reporting.
• Work closely with external auditors during audits and technical discussions.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
• Maintain punctuality and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
