Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking an experienced accountant to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger across affiliated health system entities, handling financial reporting, tax reporting, and maintaining financial systems with accurate, timely reports.

The role requires 3+ years of healthcare accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting major (or equivalent experience), and CPA is preferred. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of health care accounting and/or public accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with accounting major; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accuracy and completeness of the general ledger of the affiliated health system entities, financial reporting, financial reporting management, tax reporting as well as financial system maintenance and report writing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Responsible for accuracy and completeness of the general ledger of the affiliated health system entities, financial reporting, financial reporting management, tax reporting as well as financial system maintenance and report writing. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

Three or more years of health care accounting and/or public accounting experience is required.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting is required. In lieu of the degree, an additional 4 years of experience maybe accepted.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION

All office equipment including personal computer, fax, copier, and other office machines.

Proficiency in the use of electronic spreadsheets, graphics, word processing and general ledger systems.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION

CPA is preferred.
