Job summary

STARZ is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure the integrity of the general ledger by recording, verifying, and entering transactions. You will assist with monthly/ quarterly financial reporting and prepare information for internal and external audits.

The role emphasizes strong internal controls, confidentiality, and collaboration across finance teams. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and ERP experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of work related experience in accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems and other financial reporting tools.
  • Experience with payroll.
  • Accuracy in daily work and other projects with thoroughness and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
  • General math skills and ability to analyze data.
  • Ability to identify and research accounting issues.
  • Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint with advanced Excel.
