Job summary

STARZ in Greenwood Village, CO seeks a Senior Accountant to ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions in the general ledger. You will prepare financial statements, perform variance analyses, and support internal and external audits.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and 2+ years of accounting experience, with ERP and payroll exposure. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Payroll experience desired.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • 2+ years of work related experience in accounting.

  • Experience with ERP systems and other financial reporting tools.

  • Experience with payroll.

  • Accuracy in daily work and other projects with thoroughness and attention to detail.

  • Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.

  • General math skills and ability to analyze data.

  • Ability to identify and research accounting issues.

  • Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint software applications with advanced knowledge of Excel.


Nice to Haves


  • Experience with Workday ERP system and Adaptive (Excel-based reporting system) preferred.


Compensation

$80,000 - $90.000
