Job description

We're partnered with a manufacturing company for their Sr. Accountant opportunity.

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Consultation for the company on accounting, payroll, and business administrative needs.
2. Oversight of all financial transactions and general ledger reconciliations.
3. Production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, primarily using Excel.
4. Maintenance of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
5. Handling of corporate tax filings (note: actual tax filing handled by our CPA firm) and sales/use tax returns.
6. Management of bi-weekly payroll, inclusive of tax withholding packages and benefits deductions.
7. Annual business insurance renewals in tandem with our Production team.
8. Supervision of annual audits with our CPA firm and insurance providers.
9. Comprehensive management of our company 401K plan, including all compliance aspects.
10. Some HR management: from new hires to terminations, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
11. Management of all employee benefits, including requisite government filings.
12. Project controlling as and when needed.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Accounting as a minimum. Higher degrees and certifications are an added advantage.
2. 5+ years in Financial Management.
3. Understanding of 401K and Roth fiduciary duties.
4. Hands-on experience with ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft programs, especially Excel.
5. Familiarity with international financial reporting is an advantage.
6. Outstanding communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a reputation for meeting deadlines.
7. Consistent and punctual attendance is a must.
