Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in journal entries, variance analysis, and assisting with audits.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and other applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close process to ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial results
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
• Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare month-end accruals and supporting analyses to identify missing or misclassified expenses
• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate reporting under cash and accrual accounting frameworks
• Audit and tax preparation
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions

Job Details

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Accounting Manager with month-end close activities, financial analysis, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. This role requires strong full-cycle accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, growth-oriented healthcare environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close process to ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial results
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
• Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare month-end accruals and supporting analyses to identify missing or misclassified expenses
• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate reporting under cash and accrual accounting frameworks
