Sammons Warehouse Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Senior Accountant to own the SG&A close across multiple business units in Carrollton, TX. This highly visible role focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration with teams throughout the organization.

You will drive the month-end close, analyze variances, and support budgeting, forecasting, and annual audits. Strong ERP experience, especially NetSuite, is preferred; CPA candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
• CPA candidates preferred or pursuing CPA.

Responsibilities

• Own the SG&A month-end close process incl. four-day close, accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and close checklists.
• Analyze SG&A results, identify variances and cost opportunities; support budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
• Collaborate across multiple business units and assist migration to NetSuite.

This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys getting into the details, improving how work gets done, and building toward the next step in their accounting career.How You’ll Make a DifferenceYou’ll be a key owner of the SG&A close process, helping ensure our financial information is accurate, timely, and ready to support good business decisions. You’ll work across our business, partnering with teams throughout the organization while strengthening processes as our business and systems continue to evolve.What You’ll DoOwn the SG&A month-end close including a four-day close, accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, close checklists, and resolution of accounting discrepancies.Analyze SG&A results, investigate variances, identify trends and cost opportunities, and support budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash management, and annual audit activities.Work across multiple accounting systems, supporting consolidations and helping the organization prepare for its upcoming migration to NetSuite.Improve the way we work by building and maintaining clear processes, procedures, controls, checklists, and documentation that strengthen accuracy and efficiency.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Finance, or a related field, along with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; CPA candidates or those actively pursuing a CPA are preferred.Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, general ledger reconciliations, and SG&A accounting; experience working across multiple business units or consolidated environments is preferred.Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems.
