Sammons Warehouse Solutions in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the SG&A close process across multiple business units. This role focuses on accuracy, timely reporting, and partnering with operations to drive cost improvements.

You’ll manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and support budgeting and audits. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to learn NetSuite and other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA candidates or active pursuit preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the SG&A month-end close for multiple business units, including four-day close, accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Analyze SG&A results, identify variances and cost opportunities, support budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and audits.
• Work across multiple accounting systems, support consolidations and migration to NetSuite.
• Build and maintain internal processes, controls, and documentation to improve accuracy and efficiency.
