Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore seeks a finance professional to support day-to-day accounting activities, including GL analysis, journal entries, and periodic financial reporting. Responsibilities span month-end tasks, audit preparation, and tax reporting support within LifeBridge Health.

The role involves maintaining ledgers, preparing analyses, and contributing to cost reporting requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
• CPA preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day activities of organizational entities.
• Analyzes and reconciles selected general ledger accounts monthly.
• Prepares worksheets and schedules; makes adjustments as needed.
• Maintains records, files and ledgers for areas of responsibility.
• Assists in preparing financial reports on a recurring and ad hoc basis.
• Prepares periodic financial statements through journal entries and account analyses.
• Assists with annual audit by providing schedules and analyses.
• Supports annual tax reporting requirements.
• Assists in preparing various account analyses for HO Cost Reporting needs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA preferred

• Prepares worksheets and schedules; recommends and makes necessary adjustments.
• Maintains all records, files and ledgers related to specific area of responsibility.
• Assists in the preparation of financial reports on a recurring and ad hoc basis.
• Prepares periodic financial statements through preparation of journal entries and account analyses.
• Assists with the annual audit by providing various schedules and analyses.
• Assists in the preparation of annual tax reporting requirement needs.
• Assists in the preparation of various account analyses for HO Cost Reporting requirement needs.

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience Bachelor's degree required, Accounting or Finance degree preferred Prefer CPA

Pay Range: $31.94 to $47.91 Based On Experience
