Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a Quality Review Nurse to participate in data abstraction, entry, and review to ensure regulatory compliance and performance improvement.

You will work with hospital leadership to monitor quality and risk measures, identify concerns, and support improvement efforts across departments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of nursing experience required.
• RN license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes chart reviews for data abstraction and reporting.
• Gathers and enters data for clinical improvement measures and indicators.
• Educates staff on compliance issues, regulations, and improvement opportunities.
• Identifies quality issues through clinical review and refers cases for further assessment.

Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Quality, participates in all aspects of quality review, data abstraction and data entry to ensure monitoring and compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and standards. Works with hospital leadership and staff to ensure oversight of quality and risk measures, identifying areas of concern and participating in improvement efforts.

• Accurately completes all aspects of chart review for data abstraction, analysis and reporting of performance improvement data.
• Gathers and enters data for clinical improvement measures, quality reviews and medical staff indicators.
• Provides education to staff and colleagues regarding compliance issues, current and new regulations and opportunities for improvement.
• Identifies quality issues through clinical review and refers appropriate cases for further assessment.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Licencures & Certifications

• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$40.12 to $62.19 Based On Experience
