As an Account Manager for Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS), you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with both new and existing service customers to sell our security, fire, and building management systems (BAS) products. Your goal will be to lead and manage all aspects of customer engagement to maintain existing relationships and grow Honeywell’s presence with the customer. This role is based in the Phoenix metro area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic territory management plans and individual account opportunity plans.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts ranging from $2-5M.
  • Win new customers in the region or vertical through proactive prospecting, qualifying, and developing strategies to win.
  • Establish regular meetings with key customer stakeholders.
  • Identify qualified opportunities to support customer challenges through Honeywell offerings, sourcing opportunities to increase share of wallet.
  • Anticipate challenges and act proactively to minimize impact through regular customer meetings or feedback surveys.
  • Target new migration and share of wallet opportunities by co-developing Technology Roadmaps, understanding the buying process, co-developing RFPs/RFQs, managing proposals, and negotiating deals.

The salary range for this position is $69,500 - $104,000, depending on experience, education, and location.

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years in front-line Building Management Systems/Building Automation sales.
  • Experience selling into casinos, hotel resorts, sports arenas, theaters, museums, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven ability selling into premium commercial real estate in sports and entertainment sectors via owners, engineers, and contractors.
  • Technical knowledge of BAS, fire, and security systems.
