Tacton Systems AB is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team. You will work with cross-functional groups to develop strategic account plans that drive significant software deals to closure.
You will act as a strategic advisor to customers, engaging with executive stakeholders across business and IT functions, leading discovery, strategy, and value mapping to meet outcomes. This role emphasizes a value-based sales approach and strong pipeline management.
Tacton is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team. In this role, you will work closely with our commercial team, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive significant software deals and bring them to closure.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will serve as a strategic advisor to our customers, engaging with multiple executive stakeholders across business and IT functions. You will lead the discovery process, strategy, and value mapping to analyze the customer’s business needs and position the best solutions to achieve the desired outcomes.
Build Qualified Sales Pipelines: Identify and cultivate prospective clients to develop a robust sales pipeline.
Drive Value-Based Sales: Focus on winning new, strategic key accounts using a value-based sales approach.
Execute Sales Strategy: Align your efforts with key metrics in the EMEA Sales strategy to drive results.
Salesforce Management: Keep Salesforce updated and manage forecasts effectively.
Implement Sales Metrics: Develop and implement systems to measure sales performance.
Achieve Sales Objectives: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
Negotiate Contracts: Lead negotiations for commercial and legal contracts to close new deals.
Lead Discovery Process: Drive the discovery process to uncover customer needs and opportunities.
Create Customer Presentations: Develop and present tailored solutions to qualify use cases and advance the sales process.
At least 7+ Years of experience in technology software solutions for global enterprise accounts
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equal.
Business knowledge and experience in building and managing professional services business, ideally within B2B SaaS software, technology, or the manufacturing industry.
Experience leveraging AI-powered sales tools (e.g., for prospecting, forecasting, or deal intelligence) to drive pipeline efficiency and close rates.
Curious You possess the intelligence and curiosity to continuously learn and adapt, especially in complex fields like CPQ.
Coachable You're open to relearning and improving, especially in transitioning from feature-function-oriented, IT-driven sales to creating a much better buyer experience.
Willing to Do the Work You're proactive in building your pipeline and actively pursuing opportunities.
Skilled Storyteller You can effectively communicate with sales leaders and product teams, tailoring your message to resonate with different audiences.

We understand compensation is a principal factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Tacton we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $140,000-165,000 + commissions annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
