Job summary

Tacton, a global SaaS leader, seeks a Solution Consultant to integrate CPQ into client ecosystems, enhancing efficiency and simplifying systems. You’ll design configurations, map data, and support SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and ERP/CRM integrations across multinational manufacturing environments.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customers to deliver scalable integration solutions, applying best practices and AI-assisted tooling to streamline mapping and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• At least two years of experience in software implementation or integration roles.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ERP, CRM, and PLM integrations.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience using Excel for data analysis and scripting.

• Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using APIs, web services, and middleware.
• Provide technical support and guidance on integration best practices.
• Document integration processes and ensure compliance with quality and security policies.

Job description

The Solution Consultant will specialize in integrating Tacton's Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) solution into a customer's existing technology infrastructure to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance and simplify the overall functionality of systems.

This role will be responsible for providing expertise, best practices, and structured solutions to meet customer needs, helping them leverage Tacton CPQ to achieve business value and engage with their customers more effectively. This involves analyzing, mapping, implementing, and supporting integrations with systems like SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and others, contributing to Tacton's mission of supporting customers in their digital transformation.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide expertise on Tacton products and analyze client requirements to design configuration solutions that meet their needs and expectations
• Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using various technologies and platforms, such as web services, APIs, cloud-based techniques, and middleware
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams on integration best practices and standards
• Document integration processes and procedures and ensure compliance with quality and security policies
• Contribute to customer workshops to understand their needs and gather requirements
• Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and execute projects effectively
• Work with large multinational manufacturing companies with an international presence

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• At least two years of experience in software implementation or integration roles
• Previous experience in manufacturing companies in the IT area, preferably within SaaS
• Experience implementing integrations, preferably with systems like SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ERP, CRM, and PLM
• Knowledge of integration technologies and languages commonly used in integration, such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Knowledge of analyzing data and building simple scripts within Excel
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools to work smarter, such as AI-assisted coding, automating integration or data‑mapping tasks, or analyzing data. Familiarity with AI capabilities in CPQ or enterprise software is a plus
• Experience with CPQ solutions and product structure mapping is strongly preferred

At Tacton we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $77,000–100,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
