As a Senior Account Executive focused on the North America East Region, you will utilize your technical knowledge, deep insight of the Customer, and broader Industry knowledge to maximize and monetize the value of Cadence solutions. You will be responsible for selling all Cadence solutions, including EDA software, hardware, design IP and design services, to the accounts assigned to you and new prospects that you identify. It is expected that you will interface with all levels of individuals in your customer base from frontline design engineers to C‑Suite leadership. You will leverage relationships and superior communication skills to work with these customers to develop engineering solutions that address a variety of complex industry design challenges. You will propose solutions to your customer that will gain buy-in and drive new business across the organization. To accomplish this you will also be required to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal Cadence stakeholders in the factory and the field.
Experience
7+ years of professional experience in the electronics design business.
5+ years of experience in sales or pre‑sales roles.
Verifiable track record of overachieving aggressive sales quotas.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to travel (mainly eastern NA) 50%
US Citizen
Education
MS or BS Degree in technical discipline, preferably EE.
MBA is a plus
