Job summary

Susquehanna International Group, LLP is seeking a Support Engineer with strong SQL development skills to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business operations — you'll be the first line of defense supporting internally developed systems that our Trading and Operations teams rely on every day.

You’ll work alongside development and engineering teams, diagnosing issues through data queries and scripts, while building automation and improving processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an application support role.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL development.
• Must be available to work 10am–7pm to provide coverage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for application issues from Trading and Operations environments.
• Use monitoring tools to identify production issues, communicate impact, and track resolution.
• Manage an incoming email and ticketing queue, triaging by priority and escalating when needed.
• Build strong relationships with end users, setting expectations and providing transparent communication.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems through automation.
