DBA Dev to ensure reliability. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of SQL/programming experience, with hands-on skills in T-SQL, PowerShell, C#, SSIS, and SSRS, and are prepared to advance cloud, AlwaysOn, and DevOps initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field.
• Two to five years SQL and/or programming experience.
• Evidence of ability to analyze and translate user requirements into specifications.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL Server design, build, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on development and scripting in T-SQL, PowerShell, C#, SSIS, SSRS.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Microsoft SQL Server database instances.
• Maintain, monitor, and patch existing SQL Server database instances.
• Add, modify, and audit permissions, maintain security, and improve threat posture.
• Maintain, monitor, and audit database backups and jobs.
• Upgrade and migrate legacy SQL versions.
• Performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with infrastructure for clustering, testing, and presales due diligence.
• Detect and troubleshoot database slowness, contention, locking, and blocking.
• Provide uptime and participate in on-call duties and DR planning.
• Assist with SQL database build and task automation.
• Develop and maintain in-house queries, views, stored procedures, reports, and ETLs.
• Participate in agile team development projects.
