Job summary

BHG Financial is seeking a Database Administrator to handle routine administration and health checks for SQL Server databases in on-premises and Azure environments. You will monitor availability, capacity, and performance, investigate issues, and escalate complex incidents as needed.

You will also support backup/restore activities, recovery validation, database refreshes, and migration tasks following documented procedures. A 1-3 year background in DBA is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant database administration experience.
• Foundational SQL Server knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine administration and health checks for SQL Server databases.
• Monitor availability, capacity, performance, jobs, and alerts; investigate issues and escalate incidents.
