Job summary

AnovoRx in Memphis, TN is seeking a Database Programmer to design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database objects, ETL pipelines, and BI reports for operational analytics in a specialty pharmacy environment. You will collaborate with the Reporting and Analytics team to deliver production-ready datasets while ensuring PHI safeguards and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include building ETL processes, tuning performance, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years hands‑on MS SQL Server, T‑SQL, and related database objects.
• Experience building ETL pipelines with SSIS or equivalent.
• Experience with SSRS/Power BI reporting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA data handling preferred.
• Familiarity with CPR+ specialty pharmacy system preferred.
• Cloud databases knowledge (Snowflake/Azure) preferred.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain SQL Server database objects.
• Build and optimize ETL processes to prepare data for reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain reporting/dashboard data sources using SSRS/Power BI.
• Support Aperture and other initiatives with data extracts and development support.
• Tune queries, indexes, and logic for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate data needs into production-ready solutions.
• Maintain data dictionaries, schemas, ETL docs, and technical specs.
• Troubleshoot data integrity, performance issues, and root causes.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and safeguarding of PHI; follow change management.
