Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation in RTP, NC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our data and analytics architecture. You will lead ETL/ELT pipelines with Databricks and Azure Data Factory and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and data warehousing knowledge, plus the ability to mentor junior engineers and ensure data processing reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience building and maintaining EDW and data pipelines.
3+ years of data architecture and engineering delivering complex data solutions.
3+ years of SaaS integration work (e.g. Salesforce).
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

Design, build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
Provide access and security controls for data assets.
Support and maintain daily data processing operations with monitoring and issue resolution.
Mentor junior data engineers and review external consultants' work.
Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to deliver data solutions.
