Job summary

Network Health is seeking a Database Administrator to design, install, monitor, and optimize SQL databases, ensuring high data availability and security. You will implement change control, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning while aligning with production standards.

The role requires a BS degree in IT or related field, 5 years of MS-SQL experience (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS), and Azure SQL experience; remote-friendly Wisconsin-based position with occasional travel to Menasha.

Qualifications

BS degree in IT or related field required.
5 years of MS-SQL experience including SSMS, SSRS and SSIS.
Experience with SQL Server in Azure (PaaS/SaaS) including deployment, monitoring, performance tuning, and security.
2 years of database administration experience.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain change control and testing processes for database modifications.
Collaborate with development staff to develop database architectures, coding standards and QA procedures.
Install, configure and test database systems and assess impact of releases and patches.
Monitor database performance and apply patches and versions as required.
Develop backup and recovery, storage, archiving, and disaster recovery procedures.
Manage access permissions and data security.
