Job summary

ATC is seeking a seasoned SQL Server DBA to join our team in the United States. The candidate will administer SQL Server 2022 databases, install and upgrade servers, manage security, backups, and disaster recovery, and ensure high availability for VLDB workloads running on Windows and AWS EC2.

The role emphasizes hands-on administration, monitoring, tuning, and scripting with T-SQL and PowerShell to support mission-critical systems and 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of SQL Server 2022 administration experience.
• Installing and upgrading SQL Servers including service packs.
• Monitoring error logs and event logs for database errors.
• Managing SQL Server security and auditing.
• Capacity planning for storage and AWS storage systems.
• Backup and recovery planning with RPO/RTO targets.
• Always On availability groups and AWS HA zones.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade SQL Servers and apply service packs.
• Monitor error logs and event logs for database issues.
• Maintain security and auditing of SQL Server environments.
• Plan and manage storage capacity and backups.
• Develop and test disaster recovery procedures.

NOTE: This position requires candidates that have recent hands-on experience in ALL aspects of SQL DBA Administration.

MINIMUM: 4 Years Experience SQL Server 2022 (or later versions) database administration:

• Email, SMTP, and Proxy Server troubleshooting
