First Financial Bank is seeking a Database Administrator II in Cincinnati to support and enhance SQL Server, Azure data platforms, and related data environments. You will work with teams across the organization to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable data solutions, including ETL, reporting, and production support.

The role emphasizes performance tuning, automation, and cloud modernization efforts while maintaining compliance and security standards.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in database administration or related field, with at least 2 years in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced proficiency with T-SQL, database object development, query optimization, and indexing.
• Experience administering SQL Server environments, including security, backup/restore, and maintenance.
• Ability to translate business requirements into database, reporting, and data integration solutions.
• Familiarity with SOX, security, change management, and data governance practices.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server including configuration, maintenance, patching, monitoring, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
• Develop, test, and maintain SQL queries and database objects (tables, views, procedures, functions, indexes, triggers).
• Monitor and tune performance by reviewing execution plans and resolving blocking or deadlocks.
• Develop, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot SSIS, SSRS, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
• Provide production and on-call support; document security, operations, and recovery procedures.
