Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a skilled SPW Estimator to prepare detailed Self-Perform Work cost estimates supporting planning, bidding, and operations. You will evaluate materials, labor, and production methods while aligning with market conditions and project risk assessments.

You’ll collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates reflect realistic production rates and phasing, contributing to continuous tool and data improvements in SPW estimating.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of estimating, preconstruction, or cost analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed SPW cost estimates for multiple scopes.
• Analyzes drawings and specs to validate quantities and risks.
• Collaborates with field leaders to align estimates with plans.
• Coordinates with procurement to appraise pricing and bids.
• Develops variance analyses and supports value engineering.
• Ensures SPW scope aligns with phasing and scheduling plans.
• Communicates assumptions and recommendations to stakeholders.
