DPR Construction is seeking an estimator for Self-Perform Work (SPW) cost estimates to support project planning and bidding. This role applies knowledge of materials, labor, and production methods across multiple trades and collaborates with project, field, and operations teams to ensure realistic costs and risk assessments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.
4–6 years of estimating/preconstruction or cost analysis experience for self-perform projects.

Responsibilities

Prepares detailed SPW cost estimates for multiple trades and scopes.
Analyzes drawings, models, and specs to validate quantities and risks.
Collaborates with field, project, and operations teams to align estimates with execution plans.
Coordinates with procurement to evaluate vendor pricing and level bids.
Develops variance analyses and cost studies to support value engineering.
Coordinates with scheduling/operations to align SPW scope with phasing and sequencing.
Communicates assumptions, findings, and risks to stakeholders with appropriate contingencies.
