Job summary

VSC Fire and Security in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking candidates for the position of Sprinkler Sales. The role focuses on contract sales of sprinkler systems, with a strong emphasis on prospecting and closing contracts while ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of related experience, excellent attention to detail, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in contract sales of sprinkler systems or sprinkler design.
• Demonstrated sales experience with strong prospecting skills, proven history of successful sales and contract negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge of installation and maintenance of fire protection systems, especially sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of state and local codes, NFPA standards, ADA and AHJ governing the location.
• Good record keeping to complete forms and documentation related to sales and estimating proposals.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Valid State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record for company vehicle.
• Desirable NICET Level I certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform estimation of fire suppression sprinkler systems including costs for installation, estimating, parts/materials, design time, labor hours and service.
• Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per policies.
