What you will do
  • Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.
  • Contact customer representatives to ascertain equipment/system problems.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet (steel, copper, CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Follow troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, bulletins, and modification notices to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and manuals.
  • Provide effective customer service by communicating with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements electronically with proper coding and obtain customer signatures.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What we look for
  • At least 2 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and manuals
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Capability to work in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working at heights up to 40 feet
  • Flexibility to work weekends and participate in on-call rotations, including overnight travel
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to maintain truck inventory for timely responses
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
  • Valid driver's license meeting company requirements and ability to pass background and drug tests
