Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Texas seeks a Sprinkler Test & Inspect Technician to independently inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. You will use hand tools and testing equipment, document findings, and support entry-level technicians while traveling to job sites as required.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fire and life safety, RME-I, and a strong understanding of sprinkler systems.

Qualifications

• Independently perform inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete tasks.
• Complete required documentation and inspection reports accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Train and support entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
