Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC in Garland, Texas seeks a skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to independently service, maintain and repair fire sprinkler systems on commercial sites.

You will diagnose deficiencies, perform repairs, document service reports, ensure NFPA compliance, and communicate with customers and teammates. Travel to multiple sites and work in varying environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fire and life safety as an apprentice or technician.
• NICET Level I or above preferred.
• Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems and service procedures.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.
• Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete tasks and complete service reports.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.

This position requires demonstrated technical competency and the ability to complete standard jobs without direct supervision.
