The goal is to prepare trainees to pass ICC and NICET certification exams in multiple fire/life safety disciplines, including:
  • Portable fire extinguishers.
  • Fixed suppression systems.
  • Fire alarm systems.
  • Fire sprinkler systems.

This proven program develops well-rounded, knowledgeable fire/life safety professionals - technicians who not only know how to do the job, but also why it matters, and the codes they are upholding.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong reading comprehension and math skills.
  • Tech-savvy (we’re a digital-first company).
  • Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent self-management and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to complete required independent-study coursework and exams (eight certifications total).
Preferred Experience for This Hiring Round:
We are currently prioritizing candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in fire sprinkler inspection and testing.

NICET Level II in Water-Based Systems and Washington State Backflow Certification are highly desirable.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay ($25 - $35/hr, DOE), with potential annual earnings of $50k - $100k+ post-training.
  • Health and dental insurance.
  • 401(k) with Roth option and employer match.
  • Continued education and growth opportunities.
  • Pride of ownership - we’re an ESOP (employee-owned) company.
  • Small team culture: family-oriented, pet-friendly, and genuinely collaborative.
