Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of fire sprinkler piping systems, including fabrication of related piping and joining methods.
• Understand fire protection installation requirements.
• Ability to properly read fire protection blueprints.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 rules and all necessary codes; Nicet II/III preferred.
• Knowledge of P&L a plus; Excel experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of field experience with fire sprinkler system installation.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sprinkler installation projects and manage growing team headcounts.
• Oversee ordering of materials and equipment for projects.
• Oversee and manage financials for each project.
• Demonstrate management and leadership abilities including training and mentoring field personnel.
• Interact effectively with customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Set and manage productivity and performance expectations for field personnel.
• Identify work outside scope for change orders and close out projects with proper field documentation.
• Maintain project schedules and track hours for installers; provide status updates.
• Conduct regular job site safety audits and maintain safe working environment; lead toolbox talks.
