Job summary

MES Life Safety is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the sprinkler service division. This hands-on leadership role coordinates field operations, manages service schedules, supports technicians, and ensures projects meet codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• Current/valid sprinkler permit: Water-based inspector or Nicet I/II.
• Experience with fire sprinkler systems: inspection, service, repair, troubleshooting.
• Management, supervisory, or field leadership experience.
• Solid knowledge of NFPA codes, standards, and inspection requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced field service environment.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical sprinkler service work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily work for sprinkler technicians and yourself.
• Perform and assist sprinkler inspections, service, repairs, and troubleshooting in the field.
• Manage sprinkler service jobs from start to finish, including staffing and documentation.
• Determine labor, materials, and parts requirements for jobs.
• Coordinate parts and materials to meet schedules.
• Provide technical direction and field support to technicians.
• Monitor open jobs and follow up on repairs and customer needs.
• Ensure accurate service documentation and code compliance at closeout.
