Job summary

MES is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Service Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our sprinkler service division. This hands‑on leadership role coordinates field operations, schedules services, and ensures projects meet codes and company standards.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of sprinkler systems with proven leadership and the ability to manage jobs from scheduling through closeout, while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must hold current sprinkler permit (water base inspector or Nicet I/II).
• Experience with fire sprinkler systems: inspection, service, repair, troubleshooting.
• Previous management or field leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of sprinkler codes, standards, inspections.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced service environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily schedule for self and sprinkler technicians.
• Maintain hands-on field presence for inspections, service, repairs.
• Manage jobs end-to-end: scheduling, staffing, documentation, closeout.
• Assess labor, materials, equipment, and parts needs.
• Order parts to keep jobs on schedule and efficient.
• Provide technical direction to technicians in the field.
• Monitor open jobs and follow up on repairs and customer needs.
• Ensure accurate service documentation and code compliance.

Current/valid sprinkler permit - Water
