Sciens Building Solutions in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Sprinkler Helper to learn and assist with installation and service of fire sprinkler systems. This entry-level role provides hands-on training in a growing field of fire/life safety.

You will work with Sprinkler Service Technicians, participate in safety meetings, and learn to read blueprints, thread pipe, and install piping. This is a strong entry path into the Sprinkler Fitter apprentice program with a company that supports career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to enroll in Sprinkler Fitter apprentice program.
• Physically able to perform demanding manual work and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project schedules.
• Willing to travel to local job sites and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sprinkler Service Technicians with installation and service of overhead sprinkler systems.
• Attend weekly job site safety meetings and follow safety procedures.
• Learn reading and interpretation of blueprints for piping installation.
• Occasionally communicate with contractors to keep projects on time and on budget.
• Comply with company safety programs and policies.
