Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Sprinkler Helper to learn and assist with the installation and service of all forms of fire sprinkler systems and services. This role is an entry-level position within a growing, safety-focused team.

You will assist technicians, read blueprints, and coordinate with contractors to keep projects on time. A high school diploma and willingness to enroll in the Sprinkler Fitter apprentice program are required, along with physical fitness for demanding work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to enroll in Sprinkler Fitter apprenticeship program.
• Physically fit to perform demanding work including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sprinkler Service Technicians with installation and service of fire sprinkler systems.
• Attend weekly job site safety meetings.
• Learn to read blueprints and install prefabricated sprinkler piping.
• Communicate with contractors to keep projects on time and on budget.
• Follow Sciens safety programs and procedures.
