Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight operations at our property in Fremont. You will greet guests, manage check-ins, balance accounts, and produce daily reports to keep overnight processes accurate and transparent.

A calm, customer-focused mindset is essential for a peaceful night audit. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in hospitality; supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field; supervisory experience a plus.
• Fluent in basic software tools (Windows, spreadsheets, word docs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly during overnight shift (11 PM - 7 AM) and handle check-ins/reservations.
• Balance the books, finalize transactions, and ensure accuracy of daily cash handling.
• Maintain property safety with regular security walks and be the calm presence for guests.
• Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report for management on overnight activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to keep operations smooth during late hours.
• Utilize Windows, spreadsheets, and Word for problem solving and record-keeping.

Key Skills/Responsibilities

• Nighttime Welcome Wagon: Greet guests with warmth and efficiency during the overnight shift (11 PM - 7 AM). Handle check-ins, reservations, and those quirky late-night questions like a pro.
• Master of Midnight Math: Own the Night Audit! Balance the books, finalize transactions, and make sure every number is in its perfect place. Detail lovers, this is your time to shine.
• Guardian of the Glow-Up: Keep the property safe and sound with regular security walks. You're the calm, watchful presence that helps guests sleep easy.
• The Nightly Newsroom: Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to give management the inside scoop on what went down while the world was sleeping.
• Teamwork After Twilight: Work hand-in-hand with other departments to keep operations smooth and service top-notch—even in the wee hours.
• Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: If you're fluent in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs—and you’ve got a knack for solving problems solo—you'll fit right in.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
