Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality seeks a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk tasks in Sacramento, handling check-ins, balancing cash, and producing daily reports. You will support hotel operations during night hours and work with various departments to maintain service quality.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year in hospitality, with familiarity in MS Office tools. This is an on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package offered after an initial period.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle overnight check-ins and reservations (11 PM–7 AM).
• Balance the books, finalize transactions, and ensure numeric accuracy.
• Conduct regular security walks to maintain guest safety.
• Prepare Daily Flash Reports for management.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth overnight operations.
• Utilize Windows, Excel and Word to document and solve problems.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Nighttime Welcome Wagon: Greet guests with warmth and efficiency during the overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM). Handle check-ins, reservations, and those quirky late-night questions like a pro.
• Master of Midnight Math: Own the Night Audit! Balance the books, finalize transactions, and make sure every number is in its perfect place. Detail lovers, this is your time to shine.
• Guardian of the Glow-Up: Keep the property safe and sound with regular security walks. You’re the calm, watchful presence that helps guests sleep easy.
• The Nightly Newsroom: Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to give management the inside scoop on what went down while the world was sleeping.
• Teamwork After Twilight: Work hand-in-hand with other departments to keep operations smooth and service top-notch—even in the wee hours.
• Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: If you’re fluent in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs—and you’ve got a knack for solving problems solo—you’ll fit right in.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.
