Specialty Granules LLC is seeking a spring 2027 R&D co-op to contribute to Roofing and Analytical Laboratories. You will work with mentors on new product development, testing, and data analysis using instrumentation to generate high-quality results.

This internship offers mentorship, competitive pay, and potential for a temporary living allowance, with responsibilities spanning preparation, testing, data management, and troubleshooting to identify root causes and preventive measures.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (preferred), Chemical Engineering (preferred), Engineering, or Materials Science.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in creating and/or optimizing inorganic coating technology.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing using various preparation devices.
• Use techniques such as microscopy, titrations, color readings, total solar reflectivity, and others.
• Export, analyze, and organize data for problem-solving and product development.
