Rust-Oleum is seeking an R&D Co-Op (2027) in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This full-time internship trains under coatings chemists, focusing on growth and cross-functional project work across metal, concrete, decorative and high-performance systems.

As a current undergraduate student in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, you will create sample batches, test lab samples, document data, and assist with scale-up processes, working closely with suppliers, marketing and operations.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a comparable scientific degree.

Responsibilities

• Create sample batches of paint for formula development and conduct performance testing on lab samples.
• Document data and interpret/report results; assist with production support through scale-up and batch adjustments.
