Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred; one semester of laboratory experience.
• Minimum 1 semester of prior lab experience.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Ability to organize time and perform multiple routine tasks in a focused area.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform mathematical calculations using computer and/or calculator.
• Prepare samples.
• Perform and report statistical analysis of lab data.
• Assemble/disassemble and maintain plant equipment.
• Record data using accepted manufacturing protocols and methods.
• Participate in planning and strategic plant situations.
• Demonstrated physical ability to perform necessary duties of position.
