Job summary

EveryMind in Rockville, MD invites you to join as a Spring Events Internship. The internship runs during the spring semester, typically beginning in early January and ending in May or June, with 16–24 hours per week and hybrid opportunities at the headquarters.

You will gain hands-on experience in event planning, nonprofit operations, and community marketing, while working with a marketing team and volunteers. Mileage reimbursement and a monthly tech stipend are included.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Interest in mental health marketing and communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with logistics management, including processing and organizing invoices to ensure smooth event operations.
• Coordinating outreach efforts by securing materials and recruiting volunteers to help promote the race.
• Participating in outreach events by providing on-site support as needed.
• Managing cold calls and outreach communications to connect with local organizations and partners.
• Helping build and maintain relationships with community groups to maximize event engagement.
• Schedule: Flexible, part-time (16-24 hours/week during business hours, M–F)
• Location: EveryMind Headquarters, Rockville, MD (with hybrid opportunities)

Qualifications

• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Previous customer service experience preferred. Leadership qualities are desirable
• Reliable Transportation; will go to regular outreach events
