EveryMind in Rockville, MD is seeking an Events Internship for the Spring semester. This part-time role supports the planning and promotion of our 5K race event, offering hands-on experience in event planning, community engagement, and nonprofit marketing.

Hybrid option and 16-24 hours per week during business hours, with mileage reimbursement and a monthly tech stipend. Ideal for undergrad or grad students studying Marketing or Communications who are organized, communicative, and eager to gain

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Interest in mental health marketing and communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Previous customer service experience preferred. Leadership qualities are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with logistics management, including processing and organizing invoices for event operations.
• Coordinate outreach by securing materials and recruiting volunteers to promote the race.
• Provide on-site support at outreach events as needed.
• Manage cold calls and outreach communications to connect with local organizations and partners.
• Help build and maintain relationships with community groups to maximize event engagement.

As an Events intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful organization and promotion of our 5K race event. Your key responsibilities will include:

Schedule: Flexible, part-time (16-24 hours/week during business hours, M-F)

Location: EveryMind Headquarters, Rockville, MD (with hybrid opportunities)

Key Responsibilities
