Job summary

School District Fremont RE-1 in Canon City, CO, is seeking coaches for the April–May season. The stipend is based on the Supplemental Salary Schedule and years of experience, with starting supplemental of $2,743-$3,883.

Qualifications

• Coaches must hold a current Colorado Department of Education certificate or be employed as a teacher/counselor/administrator at least 50% of the day, or registered as a volunteer in Canon City Schools.
• Experience in athletic coaching is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rapport with team, staff, parents, and community to foster positive athletic programs.
• Cooperate with the athletic director, administration, staff, team and parents.
• Lead with dignity, integrity, and high standards of sportsmanship.
• Maintain discipline and adherence to school codes and game rules.
• Seek ongoing professional improvement through district meetings and clinics.
