Douglas County School District is seeking an Assistant Coach for Coed Track Sprints at Mountain Vista High School. The coach will organize and implement a competitive program and develop student athletes who excel academically, demonstrate strong fundamentals, and show sportsmanship.

You will collaborate with administrators, teachers, coaches, sponsors, students, parents, and community members to build a program the school can be proud of.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of track sprints and safety considerations.

An athletic coach with Douglas County School District will be charged with the organization and implementation of a successful program. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to develop a competitive program that is committed to the creation of student athletes who demonstrate a commitment to academics, strong fundamental skills, and sportsmanship. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with administrators, teachers, coaches, sponsors, students, parents, and members of the community to ensure that the school stands out with pride for our community.
