Job summary

Sanofi in Waltham, MA seeks a Spring Co-op in Biochemistry to contribute to the Biochemistry Group within the Global Antigen Design Department. You will learn protein expression, purification, and characterization campaigns at research scale, working with automation and analytical tools.

Qualifications

PhD, MS or BS student in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science with biology background.
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa at application or in the future.
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Responsibilities

Complete laboratory research tasks under supervision with high productivity and quality data.
Learn Biochemistry by reading literature and interacting with supervisor and team.
Maintain and update experiment notebooks according to QA requirements.
Participate in lab and equipment maintenance, and restock lab supplies.
Attend group meetings and present data.
