Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a highly motivated Spring Co-op in Biochemistry to join the Waltham, MA team for a 6-month program. You will contribute to vaccine-related biochemistry projects, performing protein expression, purification, and characterization tasks under supervision, with mentorship from experienced scientists.

This role requires enrollment in an accredited college, legal work authorization in the U.S., and the ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site.

Qualifications

• PhD, MS or BS student in Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science with biology background.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
• Must be able to relocate to Waltham, MA and work 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration.

Responsibilities

• Complete specific laboratory research tasks under supervision and demonstrate high productivity and consistency, with high quality data.
• Learn about the fields of Biochemistry by reading scientific literature and interacting with supervisor and team.
• Maintain and update experiment notebooks according to QA requirements.
• Participate in lab and equipment maintenance, and re-stocking lab supplies.
• Attend group meetings and presents data.
