Job summary

Johnson & Johnson's Mentor Worldwide L.L.C. is now recruiting for R&D Engineering Co-op positions in Raritan, NJ for Spring 2027.

Co-ops may work in an engineering lab to develop test methods, design fixtures and prototyping components, evaluate prototypes and coordinate with teammates and suppliers. We seek juniors, seniors or graduate students in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA, strong organization and documentation skills, and the ability to work 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Excellent organization and documentation skills.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work in a team environment.
• Able to create and modify CAD drawings, design test fixtures.
• Knowledge in the field of engineering - courses and lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabrication, and testing of prototypes using CAD and rapid prototyping.
• Generate part, assembly, and drawing files in SolidWorks.
• Support process development activities and fixtures/equipment.
• Develop and execute test methods to characterize new products.
• Coordinate with marketing, suppliers and manufacturing site.
• Document activities, including technical reports.
