Tampa Electric Company invites students to join the Spring 2027 Property Accounting Co-Op. You will assist in property, plant and equipment activities, including project analysis, unitization, AFUDC and depreciation reporting, and net book value analysis.
We seek enrolled undergraduates or graduates from Engineering, Finance, Business, or Accounting programs, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Enrollment in a university co-op program is required; if not available, interns may be considered.

The Property Accounting Co-Op Student/Inroads will assist in the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of activities related to property, plant and equipment for Tampa Electric. These activities could include project analysis, reconciliation, unitization, and closure of Capital work orders, AFUDC and depreciation reporting, net book value analysis and other ad-hoc information requests.

Part - Time (20-30 hours)
The successful applicant should be enrolled in an accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.
To qualify as a co-op student, enrollment in the university's co-op program (proof of enrollment required); if not eligible for co-op program (or program unavailable), the student will be considered an intern.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
Junior or Senior
A pre-employment drug screening, physical exam (as applicable), as well as a background check (including employment, criminal and motor vehicle) will also be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening.
