Job summary

The International Center in Indianapolis is offering an internship supporting the Senior Vice President of Operations & Chief of Staff and the Leadership Team. The role touches on general business activities, program delivery, HR tasks, and organizational projects.

Selected interns gain exposure to nonprofit administration, revenue management, and board governance while developing communications and project-management skills in a collaborative environment. Hybrid schedule possible.

ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW

POSITION SUMMARY

The selected intern works in direct support of the International Center’s Senior Vice President of Operations & Chief of Staff and Leadership Team, and is involved in general business activities, program deliveries, human resources tasks, and organizational projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research and analyze information, prepare, and present findings to supervisor and staff
  • Participate in operations,human resources, program, and service delivery processes
  • Manage organizational projects
  • Attend accounting and development meetings
  • Coordinate outreach events for prospective interns, advisors, and partners

PAY & SCHEDULE
  • $15/hour, plus $80 monthly parking stipend
  • The Center’s office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
  • Interns work an average of 20 hours per week during the fall and spring terms, and an average of 30 hours per week during the summer term
  • Hybrid work possible, based on project needs and availability
