Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, and in line with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The RN will manage care for an assigned patient group while reflecting the hospital values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Shift hours are 7p–7a, and Georgia RN licensure with BLS is required; BSN and advanced life support credentials

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred and additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical certifications.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Manages patient care for an assigned group of patients in line with Northside Hospital philosophy and policies, embodying collaboration and empowerment.

Responsibilities

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital. Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

PREFERRED

• BSN degree
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
